Bernard Avlen

He is a 20-year-old software developer, entrepreneur, and BSc Information Technology student at KNUST maintaining a First Class standing. He is the Founder and CEO of NOLAP Technologies, a registered Ghanaian technology company with three divisions that has shipped 8+ production systems for real paying clients and built NOLAP Prep, an AI-powered study platform with 700+ active users. He won GHS 30,000 at the MTN SME Accelerate competition in April 2026 and was selected into the SEO Africa x Bank of America Global Technology Internship Preparation Programme 2026/2027. He serves as Head of the Mentorship Committee of the Computer Science Society at KNUST and previously served as Deputy Head of the Scholarship and Internship Committee where he personally wrote 42 industry-standard CVs for fellow students. He organised and led a Python bootcamp for 21 students and teaches difficult courses to his peers through his YouTube channel at youtube.com/@mortoti. He grew up in Agogyi and later moved to Sogakofe in the Volta Region. He goes by mortoti.dev across all platforms and builds technology for Ghana and Africa.
